I’ve just received an Aimpoint Comp ML2, and while looking through it, I see a “spike” coming off the red dot, which gets worse as the brightness is turned up. I had similar problems with a Leupold red-dot, and I understand that the problem is not in the sights but in my eyes (I am nearsighted with astigmatism.) The spike stays fixed in the same position as I rotate the sight (eye problem, not an Aimpoint defect.) The spiking is bad enough to distract me from the central dot. Is there a similar effect with the EOTech ring-dot reticle? If the same problem does not exist, which EOTech version would you recommend? Thanks, Gabe JBritt
